CEO Assistant cum Investment Specialist

We are seeking a high-caliber CEO Assistant to serve as a strategic partner to our team. This role is designed for a highly organized professional with a background in investment, finance, or business development. You will act as the primary support to the CEO, managing critical reporting and playing a key role in our fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional English proficiency and the ability to navigate the fast-paced world and biotechnology.
Responsibilities
- 1. Investment and Fundraising Support
- Investor Relations: Act as a key point of contact for investors, maintaining a professional pipeline and ensuring timely communication.
- Data Room Ownership: Full responsibility for organizing, updating, and managing the Virtual Data Room for Due Diligence processes, ensuring all financial, legal, and operational documents are meticulously structured and investor-ready.
- Investment Material Development: Lead the creation of professional Investment Pitch Decks (presentation slides), Investment Memorandums, and Financial Teasers that effectively communicate NYB’s value proposition.
- Fundraising Support: Assist the CEO in navigating fundraising rounds, including researching potential firms and preparing for investor meetings.
- Relationship Management: Act as a dedicated point of contact for current investors, maintaining professional relationships and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Investor Reporting: Coordinate and prepare periodic updates, newsletters, and performance reports to keep existing investors informed of company milestones and financial health.
- Investor Meetings: Organize and facilitate recurring update calls and annual meetings between the CEO and the investor board.
- Database Maintenance: Manage an organized database of investor contacts, interaction history, and specialized requirements for each stakeholder.
- Executive Financial Reporting: Synthesize complex data from various departments to prepare high-level management reports and financial updates for the CEO.
- Market and Investment Research: Conduct deep-dive research on biotechnology industry trends, competitor funding rounds, and potential strategic partners.
- Streamlined Communication: Act as a bridge between the CEO and internal or external stakeholders, ensuring information flows efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
Must have:
- MUST HAVE: AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCES
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Required Experience: Solid experience in Investment or a similar Investment-focused role is essential.
- Language: Exceptional command of English (both written and verbal) is mandatory to interact with international investors and partners.
- Organization: Highly organized with a meticulous approach to data management and documentation.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating professional visual presentations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data synthesis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets).
- Familiarity with Canva for basic graphic design is a plus.
- Soft Skills: High level of discretion, proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience (higher range for candidates with proven investment or fundraising backgrounds).
